This thread is amusing in hindsight, as most of us who were creeped out by the titular lunch lady’s friendliness and knowledge of us went on to become good friends with her later.

SG2: Maranda and SG2 walk down to commuter cafe after classes. Maranda and SG2 proceed to checkout, where the friendly cashier lunch lady who is always there makes small talk - 'how was your summer' and all that. Maranda makes a comment about having gotten a new car.

Lunch Lady-"Oh, I know, I saw it on your Facebook."

Maranda-"Oh, ye--w-what?!"

Took her a second, but Maranda's eyes quickly became wide with terror. She laughed it off and everything, but as soon as we were away and walked back up the stairs, she was terrified. Especially because...if she knows, then it must mean Brillo knows, too. But I digress. Next time you see the lunch lady at your school's cafeteria or dining hall...keep your eyes on her. You'll never know... ... Just what dark secrets she knows about you. Wahahaha. ...Okay, so I just wanted to populate Off-Topic a bit more. Nonetheless, discuss!!

“Brillo” was the creepy professor of me and Maranda’s history class, and the source of various campus-based jokes.

Reese: The lunch lady is definitely black ops.

Aibou: *wheeze* C..Can't... breathe... ...! *whump*

Mr. Bones: *investigates*

SG2: Did you ever discover anything?

Mr. Bones: yes i discovered that investigating this would make me look even creepier in person.

Reese: I'll call Miskatonic University and have them send over an investigation team.

Ms. MadHatter: guess what... I forgot I added her as a friend. The mystery is over.

Reese: WOW

SG2: But...how did you find her to add her as a friend? Or more importantly...why do lunch ladies have Facebooks? Do all the other lunch ladies have them, too? Do they have a Facebook group for lunch ladies? Do they discuss lunch and lunch-related things, or does it have nothing to do with their professions while even so it's still a segregated group for lunch ladies only? Why don't they just join non-lunch lady groups to talk about those same things if they're not related to lunch? These are the questions.

Katie: lolz @ this thread There's a UMass facebook group in celebration of one of the lunch ladies, who is really really nice- I think it's called "I Love the Grab n Go Lady at Franklin DC" or something like that. Because she works at grab n go...I think I've only seen her once or twice this year though She's the one who gave me 2 cookies once! Sadly enough, I don't think she actually has a facebook...but someone told her about the fan group once and it made her happy

Reese: No idea, but she knows waaaaaaaaaaaay too much about anime for someone her age. I have to stop wearing my few anime shirs on school days.

SG2: Dunno, but she seems to be wise in all things. It's starting to creep me out. ... O_O What if she's reading this thread right now, telepathically?!?!?!
