About

IGNOLand has existed in various forms since 2005. We've been between multiple forum hosts, chat services and social media platforms, and have weathered many retcons to our characters and lore. As such, it can sometimes be difficult to sort out the scattered information, pieced together from forum threads, chat logs, and word of mouth...not to mention how daunting it is in general to dive into a community with such a long and storied history.

Enter IGNOpedia - a project with the intent of cataloguing and organizing all the important IGNOLand info, as well as the archival of stories and topics.

We live in a world where almost every TV series, video game and book franchise inevitably gets its own wiki where fans can quickly access the answers to anything they want to know. This makes having to sift through pages of forum topics or Discord pins just to figure things out feel downright primitive in comparison. It is our hope that IGNOpedia can become a one-stop repository for everything IGNOLand, from character biographies and detailed maps and descriptions of the land to topic archives and stories written by our members.

Of course, IGNOpedia is not meant to be a substitute for the forums - user registration and commenting is disabled here, and all editing is done by IGNOLand staff. If you want to be a part of our community and contribute to this world, you are encouraged to join us on the forums or Discord. Only through interaction and plotting together is IGNOLand history made - IGNOpedia is merely the library used to store and record it.

On certain pages, you’ll encounter boxes like this. This is my method of conveying additional thoughts and meta-commentary, such as current thoughts on old topics, notices of WIP pages, descriptions, and things of that nature. Unless otherwise stated, all commentary within these boxes is written by Esjitu and may not reflect the opinion of the IGNO community as a whole. First-person speech (I, me) is therefore from the perspective of Esjitu – the author, not the character.
